Michael King is the Director of the Trinity Impact Evaluation Research Centre (TIME) and Assistant Professor of Economics at Trinity College, University of Dublin. Michael’s areas of research include financial inclusion and banking, social and consumer protection and household dynamics with a focus on behavioural and experimental economics. He holds a BA and PhD in Economics from Trinity College, University of Dublin, and a Masters in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from Harvard University. Michael has worked as a consultant for the World Bank, the OECD, The Overseas Development Institute (ODI), Rabo Development and various governments across Europe.
